Hamiltons presents Platinum, an exhibition of works by Horst P. Horst. The show focuses solely on Horst’s exquisitely crafted and evocative platinum prints featuring images such as White Sleeve 1936, Dali Costumes 1939 and Mainbocher Corset 1939. Also included in this show are some of the most rare examples of Horst’s works in platinum, the platinum on linen prints.
Nearing a decade since Hamiltons presented a Horst show, this is surely the most fitting tribute to his centenary year. A cloth-bound limited edition slip cased book was published to commemorate the show and was available throughout the exhibition.
