This touring exhibition, previously hosted at the Norton Museum in Florida and currently on view at the Het Noordbrabants Museum in the Netherlands presents more than 250 works from the Nicola Erni collection bringing together one of the most comprehensive exhibitions of fashion history from an editorial and street photography perspective. High Fashion & Street Style reflects Nicola Erni’s knowledge and dedication to fashion photography of the highest quality gathering photographers whose work defined global perceptions on beauty and visual culture from the 1930s to the present day. Bringing together high fashion and street photography this exhibition brings the viewer into a world-celebrated private collection that includes work by timeless photography masters with whom Hamiltons Gallery has had the honour to have a longstanding relationship with, such as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton, Mario Testino or Albert Watson among others.
