At the inaugural Paris Photo LA, held at Paramount Studies, Hamiltons Gallery's unique installation showed a broad range of works by gallery artists, including Irving Penn, Helmut Newton, Roger Ballen, Gilles Bensimon, Murray Fredericks, Horst P. Horst, Annie Leibovitz, Guido Mocafico, Erwin Olaf, Bettina Rheims, Herb Ritts, Steve Schapiro, Tomio Seike, Christopher Thomas, and Albert Watson.
Among the highlights was a rare oversized print of Newton's Big Nude XII, from the famous series, and a selection of unique colour polaroids which he shot during his time in LA.
Two significant colour pictures by Bettina Rheims were also presented, Elizabeth Berkley in Bamboo Bushes, LA, 1994 and Traci Lords Holding a Cigarette in the 'Valentino Room' of the Alexandria Hotel, Los Angeles, April 1994.
